Senna 7.5mg tablets dosage
The dosage depends on age, medical condition, and response to treatment. For adults and children aged 12 and above, the recommended starting dose is one or two 8.6 mg tablets or 7.5 mg/15 mg syrup at bedtime. For children aged 6 to 11, the dose is halved, and for children aged 2 to 5, it is recommended not to exceed 8.6 mg twice daily.
Sennosides should not be taken for more than a week without medical supervision due to potential side effects and the risk of the body becoming dependent on them.
